Northumberland Joint Musculoskeletal and Pain Service
Complete our survey!

The CCG is looking to develop a new musculoskeletal (MSK) and pain service in the county.  The aim is to provide a service that will improve access for patients and provide an opportunity to choose care based on a patient’s desired outcomes and personal preferences.

To ensure the new service is centred on people’s needs we want to hear your views by taking part in our short survey if you have ever suffered from:

  • Back pain
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Osteoporosis
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Neck pain
  • Ligament injuries
  • Sprains and strains
  • Over-use injuries
  • Chronic pain management, or
  • Another MSK related condition

A copy of the survey can be found here and you have until 28 October to complete it.

The results of the survey will be used to help us find out about current Northumberland patient experiences of services to support people with musculoskeletal conditions or who are in pain and what needs to improve.

The CCG is also looking to set up a number of focus groups to discuss the new service over the next few weeks. If you are available to take please contact Audrey Barton, engagement manager on 01670 335198 or email

Should you have any questions please contact Audrey Barton using the contact details above.
