    Dear Siobhan,

Following the recent decision (19/12/18) to put all Physiotherapy Services out to private tender can you please state whether such services will continue to be offered from the existing hospital in Berwick and whether the service is intended to operate from the proposed new hospital for Berwick.

    Many Thanks

Thank you for contacting us. We hope you have now received an email from Stephen Young, dated 16 January, in response to your query.

    Dear Siobhan,

The National Framework published by the Department of Health revised edition October 2018 para 279 draws attention to Standing Rules on Personal Health Budgets which which requires CCGs to provide people
eligible to NHS Continuing Health Care with with information about PHBs and to offer them the option of taking them up, and support to do so.

Why does Northumberland CCG ignore these Standing Order Rules on PHBs

    • Northumberland CCG

      Dear Mr Doherty,
Thank you for your query. Northumberland CCG does offer PHBs to patients eligible for continuing healthcare. If you are having a problem relating to PHBs for you or a family member please email us at and we will ask someone to help you.
