Our CCG is governed by local doctors, nurses and experienced managers, known as the Governing Body. It meets every month to make decisions and approve plans for improving healthcare and health services in Northumberland.
The Governing Body ensures that the CCG functions effectively and economically, and that commissioning decisions are debated in an open and fair way.
Meetings of the Governing Body are held monthly and a minimum of four of these meetings are held in public each year.
The governing body has four committees:
- clinical management board
- audit committee
- corporate finance committee
- appointments and remuneration committee
The terms of reference for the committees can be found below:
Our next Governing Body meeting to be held in public will be on Wednesday 22 January 2020 at 11am held in County Hall, Morpeth, NE61 2EF.
The agenda and papers are available here.
Papers from our previous meetings can be found here.
