Our CCG is governed by local doctors, nurses and experienced managers, known as the Governing Body. It meets every month to make decisions and approve plans for improving healthcare and health services in Northumberland.
The Governing Body ensures that the CCG functions effectively and economically, and that commissioning decisions are debated in an open and fair way.
The governing body has four committees:
- Clinical Management Board
- Audit Committee
- Corporate Finance Committee
- Appointments and Remuneration Committee
Governing Body meetings are held bi-monthly and a minimum of two of these meetings are held in public each year.
